Hate

People always say there is too much of it in the world. I am of the opposite opinion. I believe that in order to love, one must equally hate. A person cannot know the true depth of love without also experiencing the opposite emotion. People love foods, they love television shows, they love cars, bikes, games, and so many other worthless things. Yet most don't truly hate anything, so how can they claim to really love things without knowing the opposing emotion? Its my belief that they cant.

There isn't too much hate in the world, there is simply too much indifference. People who claim to love and hate things but aren't willing to fight for or against anything. Thats what love and hate is, the willingness to fight and die for something you love, and the willingness to sacrifice everything to fight against something you hate.

People claim to love so much, but they aren't willing to fight for it. They have not experienced the drive that a person gets when they truly hate something, when the only thought that rages through your mind and soul is to wipe the offending object out of existence. If you truly hate something you do not just ignore it, you don't just complain about it, you remove it, sometimes its not possible to remove it as effectively as youd like. Sometimes you are unable to destroy it. True hate though drives you then to remove it from your life if not from existence. If its a person than Moving and cutting all ties is a good start. There are of course other less legal means but those have consequences. Instead of resorting to those, be creative.

Once you have experienced base hatred, than you can evaluate your other relationships and ask yourself 'how does this emotions intensity compare to how I felt before?' if you don't feel love as intense as the hatred, than you probably don't really love. Of course if your hate isn't as intense as your love, than you also probably never really hated. Without that balance of love and hate, you have indifference. It is that which causes the worlds problems. People being indifferent to each other and not giving help when it should be.
